🇨🇦 Active Participation at Canadian AI 2025: 3-Minute Thesis & Responsible AI Debate

We’re excited to share our recent participation at Canadian AI 2025, the Canadian Conference on Artificial Intelligence, hosted this year at the University of Calgary. This was an inspiring week filled with cutting-edge AI research, meaningful connections, and active engagement in the responsible AI community.

Conference Overview

Canadian AI 2025 brought together brilliant researchers and professionals from across Canada to explore the latest advances in artificial intelligence. The conference provided a fantastic platform for diving deep into AI innovations while fostering connections within the Canadian AI research community.

Active Participation & Contributions

1. 3-Minute Thesis Competition

We had the exciting opportunity to participate in the 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, where we had to present our research in just three minutes—yes, speaking very fast was definitely required! This challenge helped us refine our ability to communicate complex research concepts clearly and concisely.

2. Poster Session Presentation

During the poster session, we presented our latest work on privacy-preserving technologies and secure computation protocols. This was an excellent opportunity to receive feedback from peers and engage in meaningful discussions about the future of secure AI systems.

3. Responsible AI Debate

One of the highlights was participating in a debate on the role of AI in research. This discussion explored critical questions about how AI can enhance research while maintaining ethical standards and responsible development practices.
